“Did you used to be at Seventh Avenue and Flatbush?”

We were on Seventh Avenue and Flatbush for 40+ years! We relocated to our new space in Gowanus in March 2020. We are very grateful for our loyal customers who make the trek to our new(ish) location to see us!

“How long does it take to get something framed?”

There are a few factors which can influence the timeline for getting something custom framed. Our backlog also varies gratly at differenttimes of year. For custom framing, we recommend you call us to get an accurate estimated date of completion.

That being said, we can make things happen no matter what the deadline, so don’t hesitate to reach out and ask about quicker turnaround options! We offer a variety of frame options, some of which you can take home same day!

“How much does it cost?”

We offer a variety of services at different price points and try to make sure we can meet everyone where they’re at!

Custom framing prices are determined mostly by the size of the artwork and what type of frame you would like. We can offer rough quotes over email or phone if you give us the dimesnions of your artwork and let us know what you’d like done!

We also offer readymade frames as well as one-off frames we make in the shop at standard sizes which can greatly reduce the cost of your frame job.

“Can I bring my own frame?”

We are happy to work with your frames!

We can spruce up a piece that was framed in your childhood home and add archival elements and new materials!

We can also resize most frames to custom sizes.

“Can I get just a mat cut / piece of glass / piece of backing?”

We will happily provide materials to help you do your own framing at home. If you are getting materials cut for a specific frame, it’s best that you bring in the frame and art so we can take accurate measurements and ensure everything fits properly.

Turnaround time for materials ranges between one day and a week if we need to order materials.
