Naloxone (Narcan®) is a safe medication that can save someone’s life by reversing the effects of an opioid overdose. It only works on opioids, such as heroin, prescription painkillers and fentanyl, but it is safe to use even if opioids are not present.
This training session is being provided through NYC health in coordination with San Art Framing. Whether you have never heard about narcan or want a refresher, this is a great chance to learn the proper way to administer narcan.
Participants will receive narcan after the training session!
